Fix Persona 4 Golden Cutscenes Lagging Issue (How To)

Persona 4 was released a few days back, players are still facing an issue related to cutscenes lagging in-game. No official update/patch has been pushed yet to fix this problem. However, we have figured out a way to fix this. Continue reading to find out.

The game is garnering amazing reviews from all gaming magazines. As of now the game sits with over thousand reviews on Steam with a positive rating. For those who don’t know about this title, it was released back in 2012 for Playstation Vita. It has been ported to PC with several upgrades.

Fix Persona 4 Golden Cutscenes Lagging

To fix the issue:

  • Head to Graphic Settings
  • Turn off V-Sync
  • Set Screen Mode to Windowed Borderless.
  • Save Settings
  • Restart Game

This will temporarily fix the issues.

There’s another workaround to fix this issue, you can use MSI Afterburner to limit the FPS to 25. After that the cutscenes will not feel laggy.

Players are reporting issues related to Cutscenes lag and overall stuttering in-game. The developers have acknowledged the problem and you should expect an update in the coming days.

Players reported that the overall issue is due to Denuvo. As usual Denuvo is dragging down the game performance. Expect it to be fixed within a few days.
