If you are facing problems while trying to complete the “A Seer’s Quest” in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla then this article is for you. Today we’ll find out how to fix this issue and the developer’s response for the same.
A Seer’s Solace is one of the starter quests of the game and the bug makes it impossible to complete the mission. Once the user is stuck on the mission he cannot move ahead in the game, halting the progression. So far, a lot of people on Reddit and the official Ubisoft forums have reported the problem, the developer also acknowledged and said that this will be fixed very soon.

Fix #1: Reinstall the game
Update: Just delete your saves and start with 1.0.2 Patch.
This is pretty basic and might not work for everyone, a few users on the Ubisoft forums have reported that reinstalling the game fixed their issue. The bug is introduced in version 1.0.2. The devs are recommending users to delete their save games and start fresh with the new patch. Their comment was that this is really early in the game so not everyone should have a problem.
Fix #2: Complete Side Missions Before Seer’s Solace
If for some reason your game is stuck, delete all the saved data from and start a new game on the updated patch. When you get to the seer’s Solace mission, continue with the side missions: archery, a dice game, drinking competition, flying, etc. This is the other way you can keep playing but since the main mission is facing a progression bug, we’ll still recommend you follow the fix #1.

I can appreciate that it is frustrating to deal with and for that I am sorry.
I have passed this onto the team as well as any extra information we did not have previously. They are aware of this issue and are investigating it further.
Once we have more information to share we will do so. Once again, apologies for any inconvenience caused.
For now, that’s the only fix for the bug. Good thing is that the developers have acknowledged the issue and are working on fixing it.
