GOWR Refund: Didn’t like how the game turned out—or fed up with the crashing problems? You can ask for a refund from Sony. Let’s find out how.
Refund Policies are great because it encourages people to try out more games. If you’re unsure if you want a game, you can try it out for a while and then get a refund if you don’t like it. This also encourages developers to make shorter games since players can easily get their money back if they don’t enjoy the game. However, this is not the case with Playstation Games.
However, Sony’s Refund Policy is not as simple as Steam’s. The policy page states:
You may cancel a pre-order of digital content at any time before the release date and receive a refund. If the release date has passed, you can still change your mind and request a refund up to 14 days after payment was taken for the pre-order, provided that you have not started downloading or streaming the content to your device.

So this means that if you have not downloaded or streamed the content, you can only request a refund. So, anyone trying to save a few bucks can wait for the game to come out and wait until user reviews are posted. Normally, I prefer to ignore critic reviews as, most of the time they are biased.
How To Request a Refund for GOWR
As mentioned earlier, refunds for Sony Playstation games are not straightforward. To request a refund:
You will have to go to this page > Select “PS Store & Refunds”> Click “PlayStation Store refunds.” After doing this, start a live chat, as shown in the screenshot below:
This will start a chat with a sony support executive who will ask you a few questions; once you are done with the conversation, the executive will decide whether you can get a refund.
