Here’s a simple tip for those of you who want “Do this for all current items” checkbox to be checked by default while deleting files in Windows explorer.
Set “Do this for all current items” checkbox checked by Default
- Press Windows + R to open the Run box. Type regedit and press Enter to open the Windows Registry Editor.
- Navigate to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\OperationStatusManager
- Right-click on the
ConfirmationCheckBoxDoForAll
DWORD (32-bit) Value and select Modify. - Give it a value of
1
and click OK. - Restart your PC for the registry changes to take effect.
That’s it.
