Destiny 2 Crota’s End Loot Table: Guardians, prepare your Ghosts – the fan-favorite Crota’s End raid from Destiny 1 is coming back with a vengeance in Destiny 2! As a long-time Guardian and Destiny fanatic, I’m hyped to take on the Hellmouth and battle Crota once again when the reprised raid launches on September 1, 2023.
In this article, I’ll explain everything you need to know about the epic loot you can plunder from Crota’s End, including powerful new weapons, some amazing armor sets, and the infamous Exotic Necrochasm auto rifle. Let’s jump in!
Crota’s End Armor Sets
One huge highlight of the Crota’s End loot pool is the incredible armor sets you can earn. Each class is getting its own badass Hive-themed armor:
- Titans are rocking the spiky, hive-chitin style of the Willbreaker Armor Set. You’ll look like a Hive Knight ready for battle!
- Hunters are sneaking through the Hellmouth with the bone-adorned God Knight Armor Set. Very slick!
- As a Warlock main, I’m drooling over the Deathsinger Armor Set and its flowing, gothic robes. 100% will be my go-to duds.
Just take a look at these armor previews – the Hive/Darkness aesthetic is so killer:
I don’t know about you, but I’ll be grinding this raid nonstop until I’ve collected the entire Deathsinger set.
Crota’s End weapons
Note: These weapons are confirmed as they’ve been datamined from the Bungie API.
In addition to the armor, Crota’s End also offers an arsenal of 6 new Legendary weapons themed after the nightmarish Hive baddies we’ll be facing in the raid:
|Oversoul Edict||Arc||Pulse Rifle|
|Abyss Defiant||Solar||Auto Rifle|
|Word of Crota||Void||Hand Cannon|
|Fang of Ir Yut||Strand||Scout Rifle|
|Song of Ir Yut||Arc||Machine Gun|
Overall, these weapons seem expertly crafted and tailored for dominating Hive foes. Once I get my hands on them, my Guardian will be an unstoppable death machine in the Hellmouth!
- The War’s Lament Exotic Ship
- The Warped Rachis Shader
- A Catalyst for the Necrochasm
Anyone who beats the raid within the contest period of 48 hours will be awarded with the following emblem.
Scoring the Exotic Necrochasm
Lastly, what would a raid be without new Exotics? For Crota’s End, the biggest prize is the infamous Necrochasm Exotic Auto Rifle from Destiny 1. It unleashes explosive Cursed Thrall projectiles that obliterate enemies in devastating void detonations.
Unlocking Necrochasm will require completing an Exotic quest, but Bungie has hinted that teams who conquer the day one Contest Mode clear will automatically earn the weapon. My fireteam already has a Crota’s End blind run planned, so here’s hoping we nab that sweet World First (and Necrochasm)!
Ready For Launch
With the diverse new weapons and armor and the chance to earn the devastating Necrochasm, this reprised raid is shaping to be an amazing addition to Destiny 2. Mark those calendars, Guardians – we’ll see you in the Hellmouth when Crota’s End goes live on September 1st! Let the loot hunting begin.
I will be keeping an eye on Gladd and Datto for the first completion contenders, even though they haven’t scored much for the last two-three raids.
