Destiny 2 Dares of Eternity Legend Rotation This Week

Last Updated on December 13, 2023

Dares of Eternity Legend Rotation: DOF is a new activity added to the game during Bungie’s 30th Anniversary. Dares is a six-player activity that requires you to take down enemy hoards and win rewards. Xur is the NPC who handles all Dares of Eternity stuff.

We are unsure if this activity will remain a pinnacle or powerful gear source. This will be updated on the first day of Season 22.

The activity is straightforward: spawn and spin the “Wheel of Adversity.” This wheel decides what faction you are going to fight. Afterward, you have to take down enemies and play through some basic mechanics. Once you are finished, you’ll be rewarded with some sweet loot; that loot gets multiplied if your activity turns heroic. 1x chest for normal completion and 4x chests for Heroic.

How To Access Dares of Eternity?

Xur now has a permanent place in the Destiny World. As mentioned earlier, he is also the vendor for all the stuff for this activity. To start the activity, go to Destinations and locate “Eternity,” right next to the Tower. Here’s a screenshot below:

Once you click the planet, you’ll be presented with the following:

  • Grasp of Avarice: The Dungeon was introduced during the 30th-anniversary update.
  • Dares of Eternity: This is how you start the activity. Scoring 250,000 awards pinnacle gear.
  • Xur’s Treasure Hoard: This is where you’ll find Xur and his Starhorse. Both of them will offer you bounties and rewards.

Tip: Collect max bounties from Xur; this will reward you reputation points that can reward you with free engrams and set seasonal rewards. You can only carry one Starhorse bounty, so choose carefully. Completion of the Starhorse bounty will reward you with Paraversal Haul and XP.

Loot to look out for:

  • Dire Promise Hand Cannon

  • Seraph Shotgun

(Please wait for a few seconds for the spreadsheet to load)

Dares of Eternity is one of those activities which doesn’t require you to do a lot. Just run around taking down hoards of enemies for loot. This makes me remember the vaulted activity called Menagerie.

I still haven’t figured out how to make this activity heroic; it has been completely RNG for me. Just keep on taking down enemies, and it randomly gets triggered. I will make sure to update it here once I know about it.

I hope this article helped you out; make sure to comment below if it did! We have written multiple Witch Queen Guides for Destiny 2 here; check them out.

  1. If by Heroic you mean Xur’s Treasurer, it’s by getting “Jackpots” when spinning for enemies.

When the indicator lands directly on the enemy symbol, it’s a Jackpot.

2 Jackpots is a guaranteed Treasurer. 1 is about a 50/50. And 0 Jackpots is just a very small chance I believe.
