To fix the “problem reading game content” error
- Head to C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Destiny 2 (Default steam installation folder)
- Delete the file “steam_appid.txt” file located inside the Destiny 2 folder
This can also happen to you if you have over 300 friends on Steam. There’s no fix for this as of now, other than removing some people from your list.
