Shadowkeep update was dropped recently, the update was huge and people were complaining non stop about them not being able to log-in. Some even went as far as asking for refunds. The developers said they are overwhelmed with the response and didn’t expect this amount of audiences coming their way.
Talking about the weapons, Ace of Spades and Cerberus are pretty good exotics. Ace of Spaces is top tier, for both PVE and PVP. A PVP Youtuber recently made a video listing Ace as the best hand cannon in Destiny 2.
Enough about the talking let’s find out what these catalysts do, and where you can find them.
How To Get Ace of Spades Catalyst

What does the catalyst do? – Once equipped the weapon will generate orbs on multi kills, this is obvious. Upon completion of the objective, the damage of the firefly will increase. The description of the catalyst says “Firefly deals more damage while Memento Mori is active”.
How To Get It? – The Ace of Spades Catalyst drops from strikes or crucible games. This is an RNG-based drop so you cannot actually farm it.
Update: The catalyst dropped for me in a Gambit match, this has to be a world drop for sure.
How To Get Cerberus +1 Catalyst

What does the catalyst do? – Once equipped the weapon will generate orbs on multi kills, this is obvious. Upon completion of the objective, holding R will swap to a tighter closed range spread. Not sure about the effectiveness of this yet, we’ll try this out and post a review soon.
How To Get It? – The Cerberus+1 catalyst is a world drop, so doing any activity in the game can drop it. I got it from defeating a yellow bar enemy on Moon.
