Last Updated on June 3, 2022

Farm Gems in Ni no Kuni Cross Worlds – Leveling up your armor and weapons in Level-5’s newest RPG Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is not an easy task, and can often be quite tedious. For starters, you’ll be needing lots of gems to upgrade your gear.

These Gems in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds are special items that can be used to enhance the players’ weapons and armor. They can apply unique stat buffs to weapons and armor once they’re imprinted successfully.

These stat buffs can improve various stats like Defense, Evasion, HP, or Accuracy. Players will need to effectively use the Gem slots in their gear to grow stronger and take on tougher enemies in Cross Worlds.

Do bear in mind that you’ll need to reach Level 40 to unlock Gem slots for your equipment in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds. Till you hit that mark, farming Gems is pretty pointless.

How to Farm Gems in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds

While a number of locations in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds can drop gems to players. The best places to grind gems in the game are Ancient Ruins and Chaos Fields.

Once you’re in those locations, you can opt to open the map and click on the Wolf icon to get some additional information on what items for the monsters drop. You can then choose which monsters to kill based on the gems that you want.

Always have that Energy Drink ready to enable the drop rate boosts. This will make your grind easier and increase your chances of getting gems from the monsters. While playing the game myself, I was able to grind a bunch easily by taking down enemies in the Chaos Field. One thing is certain, this is not a rare resource and you’ll find it in abundance, at least the non-rare ones.

What are Gems Useful For?

Gems provide buffs to weapons and armor pieces in Cross Worlds. In games like these, having stat buffs will help you in taking down enemies and improving your efficiency. Taking down enemies and gathering loot is what this game is all about, right?

Each weapon in Cross Worlds has three slots that you can put gems into. Whenever you find a weapon, there will be three slots locked, you have to unlock them by finding the right gem for it. These are the gem types in Cross Worlds:

  • Spade
  • Diamond
  • Club
  • Heart
  • Joker

Once you have the gems, you need to imprint them on your weapon. To do this, head to the Main Menu > Click Gems. By doing this, you’ll be headed to the Gems menu where all of your weapons will show up. You can choose a suitable weapon and imprint the gem on it.
