Modern Warfare 2 campaign came out a few days back and took down steam servers during its release. So it’s safe to say that the game has received enough pre-orders to make it a success. I honestly am excited about the multiplayer game that unlocks on October 28th.
While playing the game, I realized I was missing one of the achievements (or trophy, as you might call it) called “Practice Makes Perfect.” Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has a fair number of achievements to get 100% completion, and you have to play the game in a somewhat stealthy non-COD way to get them.

- Mission 16: Ghost Team
- Objective: Destroy the tank and shoot all 33 training targets.
The achievement requires you to “Shoot all targets in Ghost Team” what exactly does this mean? Let’s find out.
The achievement requires you to take down 33 practice targets in the training area. However, there’s a catch; if you pick up the C4, a checkpoint will be triggered, making it harder to do this mission if you fail, so don’t do it. Also, there are real enemies, and a tank will be chasing you, so make sure to take cover and not run around in the open.
The image below is what the practice target looks like; when you shoot one, you’ll hear a ping sound, and it’ll drop to the ground. A great way to do this is by using the spotter scope, which highlights the targets when you aim, I am not sure where I got it from, but if you have it, the mission will be really easy.
How Did I find all 33 targets?
The locations are not obvious, and the targets are hidden in different areas. I started looking outside first and took down all targets, especially around the edges. There are four practice targets around the destroyed cars and one on the top of the metal container. As you start moving forward, there is one more target outside a container and another next to a wooden block.
There are several practice targets outside; the ones I have mentioned above should explain what kind of locations you have to be looking into. Just find all 33, and you will get the trophy. The trick is to finish looking at the ones outside first and then clear the buildings.
