There are way too many legendaries in Borderlands 3, some of them haven’t been discovered yet. Butcher 3 is one of them, and I must say one of the best in the game. In this article, we’ll find out how to farm this shotgun and eliminate everything with ease.
The Hyperion manufactured shotgun Hyperion is crazy when it comes to DPS, and takes down enemies with Ease. Pair this with Moze’s unlimited ammo skill tree and you’ll never run out of ammo. The weapon is so crazy (too many times, I know!) that it can replace an assault rifle or submachine gun.

The weapon has increased fire rate and a chance to refill magazine when fired. This is heavenly for Moze, you get guaranteed unlimited ammo with Moze’s ammo skill tree and MIRV hex grenade build. I always have this gun equipped in one of my weapon slots, just run and gun, continuing that mayhem.
How To Get The Butcher Shotgun
The Butcher Shotgun can drop for any enemy in the world, it’s a world drop. Your chances might be even higher if you try farming for legendaries in Mayhem 2-3. I tried finding the exact location for farming this particular shotgun but had a hard time even after looking at Reddit and the Borderlands forums.
We’ll head to Graveward to farm for legendary Butcher Shotgun. I got my drop from this particular boss, the chances are slim since the boss can drop any legendary in the game or no legendary whatsoever (bad luck!). The boss is really easy to take down with the right builds, so I’ll recommend you to farm this particular boss.
