Destiny 2 King’s Fall Raid Loot Table – Weapons & Armor

Last Updated on August 29, 2022

King’s Fall Raid Loot Table – Destiny’s Season 18 is here, called Season of the Plunder. The update brings many new changes, weapons, nerfs, and buffs. The notable things for this season are Arc 3.0 rework, a new weekly six-player matchmade mission called Ketchcrash, a new three-player matchmade activity called Expedition, and a new raid. I feel like this season is geared more towards PvE than PvP; the Arc changes are not groundbreaking.

King’s Fall is the raid of The Taken King expansion. It was unlocked on September 18, 2015, three days after the expansion’s release. King’s Fall will take players into the furthest depths of the Dreadnaught and serve as the conclusion to the Taken War storyline.

Destiny 1 quote from Destiny Wiki

The Taken King is back. Destiny’s most famous and loved Raid is coming to Destiny 2. King’s fall is the second reprised Raid we are getting from the old game; Vault of Glass was the first. Changes were made to Vault of Glass, I expect the same will be done with Raid to make it fresh and challenging as Most streamers and veterans are aware of the encounters.

Raid Encounters:

  • Totems
  • Warpriest
  • Golgoroth
  • Daughters
  • Oryx

When does the Raid start?

Raid starts on August 26, here are the timings for different regions:

  • 10 AM PT
  • 1 PM ET
  • 6 PM BST
  • 7 PM CEST

For the first 24 hours, contest mode will run, and there will be a world’s first and triumph reward for guardians who complete the Raid within 24 hours. I will be watching Datto and Gladd both, they’ve always been world-first contenders and their team keeps everything entertaining.

Preparing for King’s Fall in Destiny 2

  • Make sure your character Power Level is 1560 or higher.
  • Watch older and preparation videos from Streamers to get an idea about the mechanics of the Raid.
  • The Contest Mode will run for 24 hours; anyone who completes the Raid within 24 hours will get the emblem.
  • Make a raid-ready loadout to take care of different kinds of enemies.

There’s not much to prepare during the contest hours; once the contest ends, you can do testing of different loadouts. I will also try my hands on the Raid once the Destiny gods have figured everything out.

King Fall’s Raid Rewards

Here are the confirmed rewards from the Raid.

Raid Belt

Oryx Raid Ring

Announced via the latest TWAB, the Oryx raid ring can be purchased through Bungie Store once you’ve completed the Raid. You can get it by September 6, 2022, 9:59 AM PT.

Challenge Completion Emblem

Raid Exotic

The King’s Fall Raid Exotic Reward is the Touch of Malice Exotic Scout. The weapon is another one making a comeback in the Destiny 2 world.

Legendary Rewards & Armor

Not much has been revealed about the legendary armor and weapons yet; I will update this section once the Raid starts.

Weapons:

  • Zaouli’s Bane – Hand Cannon
  • Defiance of Yasmin – Sniper Rifle
  • Smite of Merain – Pulse Rifle
  • Doom of Chelchis – Scout Rifle
  • Midhas’s Reckoning – Fusion
  • Qullim’s Terminus – Heavy Machine

All King’s Fall weapons will roll with Runneth Over Origin Trait; Reloading near allies overflows the magazine.

Every boss encounter has a different loot pool, so I will make a table explaining everything.
