Beloved Sniper God Roll Guide – Best Perks for PvP & PvE

Last Updated on May 27, 2022

Beloved Sniper God Roll Guide: Calus’s Return to the moon has brought the Opulence weapons back in Destiny 2. The community favorite Beloved Sniper Rifle & Austringer Hand Cannon can be farmed again. Farming for the god roll will not be easy as the Opulent Keys are not found in abundance.

The good part is that this weapon can be crafted, but again for that to work, you need to unlock the Beloved pattern. Unlocking the pattern is well worth it as it gives you access to enhanced perks.

There are so many Snipers in the game, so why exactly are YouTubers and others so hyped about this weapon coming back? – The answer is, it was one of the top-tier snipers back in the day; it was snappy and could roll with Snapshot and Quickdraw. It’s even better now because of the enhanced perks. Also, the 40 zoom and scope make it very easy to hit headshots.

Beloved Sniper God Roll Guide

Enough about the weapon; let’s find out what the god roll is.

Beloved Base Stats

  • Impact: 70
  • Range: 50
  • Stability: 46
  • Handling: 47
  • Reload Speed: 38
  • Aim Assist: 68
  • Rounds Per Minute: 90
  • Magazine: 4

Please keep in mind God Rolls are subjective; what works best for me might not work best for you. However, I always like to add my comments below each roll explaining my reason for choosing a perk.

Beloved PvP God Roll

  • Barrel: Arrowhead Brake (+23 Recoil Direction & +10 Handling)
  • Magazine: Ricochet Rounds (+5 Range & +5 Stability)
  • Perk 1: Snapshot Sights (Enhanced)
  • Perk 2: Quickdraw (Enhanced)
  • Masterwork: Range / Stability
  • Mod: Targeting Adjuster or Icarus Grip

Why Snapshot + Quickdraw?

This was the God Roll back then; nothing much has changed. Bungie has made some changes to Snapshot Sights in Season of the Haunted to make sure that you don’t need it at all times but it is still better than the other perks. You will feel it when you compare one with and one without it.

Of course, the enhanced perk variant of the sniper can only be crafted if you have unlocked the pattern. Until then, you can keep farming for the non-enhanced Snapshot + Quickdraw Roll.

Make sure to not dismantle the drops with the red borders. You have to level them up to unlock the pattern.

Beloved PvE God Roll

This is a Solar Energy Sniper, so it makes sense to use it in PvE at least for this season due to the introduction of Solar 3.0.

  • Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling
  • Magazine: Ricochet Rounds
  • Perk 1: Fourth Times the Charm
  • Perk 2: Incandescent (Enhanced)
  • Masterwork: Reload Speed
  • Mod: Major or Boss Spec

There’s not much to discuss about the PvE roll of this weapon. Using it would be situational, there are so many good weapons to choose from.

How To Farm Beloved?

As mentioned earlier, the Beloved Sniper Rifle drops from the Opulent Chests. You will have to spend hours or maybe days to find the correct roll for this to work. Just head to the Nightmare Derelict and keep on completing the public event to farm for Chest Keys.

Once you have obtained the weapon, you can go to the H.E.L.M and focus your engram for Beloved Sniper Rifle.

So, this sums up two ways for farming Beloved; One is by opening Opulent Chests and the other by focusing engrams at Crown of Sorrow.
