How To Get Collective Obligation in Destiny 2 – Exotic Pulse Rifle

Last Updated on March 8, 2022

Witch Queen has brought many new weapons, a new void meta, and multiple exotics to the game. The meta is wholly shifted, PvP is not what it used to be anymore. I am a returning player who stopped playing the game in Season 13. So far, I like everything Bungie has changed and the direction the game is heading in.

Collective Obligation is the new exotic pulse rifle revealed through the catalysts page. Not much is known about the pulse rifle other than how it will look.

How To Get Collective Obligation in Destiny 2

Exotic Trait – Umral Sustenance: This weapon’s magazine is automatically reloaded when your Devour, a Void overshield, or become invisible.

Intrinsic Trait – Void Leech: This weapon leeches Void debuffs when damaging targets that are suppressed, weakened or volatile. Once charged, “R” Press to swap firing modes. In this mode, damage from this weapon applies the same Void debuffs that were leeched.

Collective Obligation drops from the last boss encounter in the Vow of the Disciple Raid. It’s not a guaranteed drop.

Deadeye, one of our readers got it from the secret chest at the end.

Old Update: Salt and Datto are the ones who completed the raid 1st and 2nd respectively. The weapon didn’t drop for them. So seems like this is not a confirmed drop for the 24-hour completion. It’s might just be an RNG drop.

Old Update #2: The weapon is not on the collections page of the Raid. However, the description of the weapon mentions “Rhulk” who is the main boss of the raid.

You can view the exotic catalyst in-game by heading to Collections > Click on Exotic > Weapon Ornaments > Pulse Rifle > Locate “In Finality” at the bottom.

I will update more about this when we have more info. Please watch this section for updates!

Witch Queen’s most talked about, “The Vow of the Disciple Raid“, will be unlocked today. The campaign has already concluded, but the raid is yet to release. If we talk about it, the campaign was one of the best ones I’ve ever played. The story is excellent and ends with a great note, leaving everyone wondering what happened or what will happen next.

At 10 AM PST on March 5, the race to the world’s first for Vow of the Disciple raid beings. Here are the timings for other time zones.

  • March 5 – 1:00 p.m. (EST)
  • March 5 – 5:00 p.m. (JST)
  • March 5 – 6:00 p.m. (BST)
  • March 6 – 5:00 a.m. (AET)
