How To Get Lyuda Sniper Rifle – Borderlands 3

Last Updated on October 15, 2019

Lyuda is one of the most powerful snipers in the game at the moment. In this guide, we’ll find out the stats, how we can farm it, and a breakdown of everything.

Lyuda is the Vladof legendary sniper rifle, the sniper fires full-auto. This was one of the best guns to pair with FL4K before Leave no Trace was nerfed by Gearbox. This gun works well with any of the crits builds and is still relevant even after the nerfs to the vault hunters.

How To Get Lyuda Sniper Rifle

Most of the legendaries in the game can be obtained by eliminating bosses. Repeating this process in mayhem mode actually guarantees a legendary or two, whenever you take down the bosses. However, Lyuda can be guaranteed if you complete all of Zero’s Targets of Opportunity, these are 10 in total, you can see them in the Zer0’s room on Sanctuary.

Complete Zero’s Targets of Opportunity

Below is the list of enemies with their locations. If you are not familiar with the locations, you can search on YouTube.

  • Baron Noggin – Can be located on Promethea, Meridian Metroplex
  • Crushjaw – Cathedral of the Twin Gods
  • Handsome Jackie – Can be located on Promethea, Skywell-27
  • Psychobillies – Eden-6, Ambermire
  • Heckle and Hyde – Both of these are targets located in Eden-6, Jakobs Estate.
  • DJ DeadSk4G – Head to the bandit camp located on the far left of the Spinterlands map
  • Judge Hightower and High Gang – to find the judge and his gang, you need to start the “Kill Killavolt” side mission. He spawns on Promethea, Lectra City during this mission.
  • Sylestro and Atomic – Nekrotafeyo, Tazender Ruins
  • Sky Bullies – Eden-6, The Anvil
  • Hot Karl – Pandora, Devil’s Razor

Tracking down all these enemies might sound like a task, but this will guarantee that you get the Lyuda sniper rifle. If you are not interested in doing this, you can go with the grinding way. Below is a list of bosses that you can take down for farming legendaries, eliminate and repeat. Play in TVHM mode with Mayhem 2-3 to increase your chances of getting legendaries.

Farming Graveward for Legendary Loot

This boss is one of my favorites for farming legendaries, with the right Moze and FL4k builds, you can take down this boss with ease. The boss can drop any legendary in the game, but since there are no guarantees of farming this particular gun we’d recommend you to head to this boss. As mentioned earlier, if you’re playing in TVHM mode, you shouldn’t have trouble farming legendaries.

Farm Chupacabratch Mini-Boss

Another great place to farm for legendaries is the Chupacabratch mini-boss. If you’ve played the storyline already, I am pretty sure you’ve encountered this boss at some point. Chupacabratch is located on Athenas in the Cemetry near the Brewery.

The boss is really easy to take down, just take a powerful gun such as The Butcher and melt him. Reload map and repeat, keep doing this until you get what you want.

Farm Loot Tinks

Loot tinks are a great way of farming legendaries, I myself was able to obtain many legendaries when I started. However, the efficiency has been toned down after the nerfs made by Gearbox.

There’s a workaround though, just load the game in offline mode and you’ll have the same pre-nerf efficiency. Many people don’t know about this, but the game works exactly fine in offline mode.
