How to Farm Ragnhild-D Shotgun in Destiny 2 – PvP & PvE God Roll

Last Updated on March 2, 2022

A plethora of new weapons has been added with the Witch Queen Update. Among them is the Ragnhild-D shotgun, which is pretty good in both crucible and PvE activities. This article will talk about what the best rolls are and how you can farm it.

Ragnhild-D is a kinetic legendary 55 RPM aggressive frame shotgun. It can roll perks such as Subsistence, Perpetual Motion, One-Two Punch and Demolitionist. For those who don’t know, Aggressive frame shotguns are good in both PvP and PvE. The intrinsic perk reads, “Hard-hitting, high recoil. Increases rate of fire after kill”. I have already seen multiple YouTube videos from Destiny 2 YouTubers showcasing how good the weapon is.

I also really like the sight of this shotgun, it offers a clear view.

The shotgun rolls with a basic trait called “Hakke Breach Armaments” which is practically useless for PvP users. Here’s the perk description from Light.gg.

  • Hakke Breach Armaments: This weapon deals increased damage against vehicles, turrets, barricades, and Stasis crystals.

Ragnhild-D Stats

These stats can vary according to what drop you get:

  • Impact: 80
  • RPM: 55
  • Range: 35
  • Stability: 36
  • Handling: 40
  • Reload Speed: 38
  • Aim Assistance: 38
  • Zoom: 16
  • Recoil: 64

Ragnhild-D God Roll for PvP

Note: Once this weapon is dropped for you. You can Reshape it by going to The Enclave on Mars.

  • Level 7 for Range Masterwork
  • Full Choke or Rifled Barrel: You need max range for Crucible to one-shot guardians from range.
  • Perpetual Motion: This weapon gains bonus stability, handling, and reload speed while the wielder is in motion.
  • Adrenaline Junkie: This weapon gains increased damage and handling from final blows with grenades or this weapon.
  • Hakke Breach Armaments: This weapon deals increased damage against vehicles, turrets, barricades, and Stasis crystals.

Full Choke and Accurized Rounds are the must-have perks for any shotgun that you will be using in PvP.

Please keep in mind that god rolls are subjective and can change according to what build you are using. I like running around with the shotgun on my warlock with a basic Transversive Steps build. Pair this shotty with the new void SMG, along with the new Void 3.0 build and you’ll slap everyone in the crucible.

Now, that we know enough about the weapon, let’s find out how we can get it.

Ragnhild-D God Roll for PvE

The great thing about this shotgun is that it sits in the Kinetic Slot, which means you can pair it with the good SMGs. I am talking about Riskrunner and the new SMG called Funnelweb.

Here are the rolls for PvE activities:

  • Level 7 for Range Masterwork
  • Small Bore: For increased stability and range.
  • Assault Mag: Increases shotgun RPM by +5, alongwith stability.
  • Subsistence: Refreshes 10-17% of mag of each kill, depending on weapon type.
  • Adrenaline Junkie or Demolitionist: You can choose whichever you like. But I’ll settle for Demolitionist, given how broken grenades are at the moment. If at some point, Void 3.0 gets nerfed, I will switch to Adrenaline Junkie.
  • Hakke Breach Armaments: This weapon deals increased damage against vehicles, turrets, barricades, and Stasis crystals.

Please keep in mind that god rolls are subjective and can change according to what build you are using.

How To Farm Ragnhild-D Shotgun

Here is the drop I got.

Here comes the hard part, the gun is not precisely farmable. Like you cannot go to a particular mission and get it. You have to complete missions in the Destiny world and get random legendary drops. The drop chance is good enough; This shotgun has dropped six times for me, without trying to farm it during the Witch Queen Campaign. Even some of my teammates got it, and they don’t know how good it is.

If you have completed the campaign and haven’t got it yet. I recommend you to play the quest on the other two characters. I also got Funnelweb while completing the quest on my other characters. If you don’t want to play the campaign again, then here are the other things you can do to get this shotgun:

  • Crucible
  • Vanguard Strikes
  • Umbral Engrams
  • Dares of Eternity in Savathun’s Throne World
  • Savathun’s Throne World Activities and Chests
  • Any activity that drops legendary engrams

The Witch Queen update has brought notable changes; mainly the Void 3.0. I’ve already written about the best void builds for Hunter, Titan and Warlock.
